The Love Bug
George and Johnny recently arrived at the Glove Factory driving the latest model VW beetle fashioning red, white and blue stripes and a 53 graphic as seen in Herbie, Fully Loaded. But don't let that mislead you; the inside of their studio looks more like an ultimate contemplation space or yoga retreat, than a retro love bug's garage. An ideal environment for George to set about writing HappyScript.
Let's make honey
The two hives are almost ready to harvest. Robert Carpenter-Turner visited the Glove Factory to inspect the colonies for diseases and gave them a clean bill of health. The hives have two supers worth of honey (about 40lbs) that have taken the bees less than a month to produce!
Dad's Stuff
Dads from varying business backgrounds: anaesthetist, designers, organic food producer, sculptor and digital printer, met at the Glove Factory to make go-carts with their kids. By 11am it seemed as if nothing was going to be achieved; the Dads were all in the tool shed and the kids were mucking about in the courtyard. But, order took hold, and the kids lay down on lengths of paper to be outlined so that they could fill in their own STIG outfits in preparation for their lap around the track, while the Dads pulled together to create a production line that could put the British automobile industry back in business! By the end of the day they produced SIX go-carts complete with spray paint finishes and racing graphics.

Curtains are calling
Kate Warner moved into Studio 7 where she can keep a watchful eye on the courgettes in the café garden opposite. Kate's a curtain maker and is excitedly sourcing textile designers and fabric manufacturers to bring her clients an excellent selection of curtain fabrics, beautifully hand finished.

Work through an hour of skipping, crunches, lunges, tricep dips, push ups, squats, plank(?), stomach squeezes and abdominal obliques! every Thursday in the Project Space from 6pm.
