Break up the week and unwind in a rejuvenating After-Work class led by experienced instructor Kay Skinner.

Perfect for all levels, Kay’s classes are designed to cater to all levels and to help you relax, stretch, and strengthen your body, leaving you feeling restored and energised.

This Pilates class is a total body workout in a different way than usual. It will push you and strengthen you but with a key focus on the improving bodily alignment, core stability and control, enhancing posture, flexibility and balance. Sessions will occasionally feature use of small equipment (provided for), plenty of variety and fun! Whether you’re a complete beginner, struggling with back pain, post-natal, wanting to generally strengthen and tone or a seasoned pro this session is for you. All abilities and experience welcome!

What’s Included:

Use of yoga mats and small equipment (balls, bands, Pilates rings, massage balls)

Additional Information:

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early to set up your space. Meet in the Gathering Shed, tucked behind the courtyard of our red brick Leather Factory building, adjacent to Glove Factory Studios.
  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.
  • Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • Changing rooms, disabled loo, showers can be found on the ground floor beneath The Gathering Shed.

Biography:

Kay is an APPI (Australian Physio-Therapy and Pilates Institute) certified instructor and follows a method of training that ensures people exercise with the correct alignment in a safe and injury preventing environment. Her natural bubbly personality means classes are full of life, energy and you are guaranteed to have fun and have a giggle.You will often find her out in the great outdoors on a run or a cold water dip. She always makes the most of any opportunity to do any of her classes outside (when the English weather permits).
