Tom Hodgkinson, best-selling author, editor of the Idler and lately founder of the Idler Academy of Philosophy, Husbandry and Merriment, returns to give a talk on the history of idling from Socrates to John Lennon. As well as being a useful condensed history of the world, Tom’s talk will also provide inspiration for the free of spirit. There will be ukulele accompaniment.
We are thrilled to again welcome Tom & his ukelele for a wonderful evening of music & discussion over supper served by Sam’s Kitchen & Deli.
