Pop Up Cookspace Piadina Project

Pop Up Cookspace makes The Piadina Project Pop!

Pop Up Cookspace has designed and made a bespoke mobile minikitchen for up-and-coming Italian streetfood brand, The Piadina Project, which is making its debut through a series of pop ups in London’s trendiest spots.

The Piadina Project serves Italian streetfood staple piadina, an authentic flatbread from the region of Romagna, creating signature recipes with traditional ingredients such as stracchino, proscuitto crudo and rocket.

To reflect the old meets new vibe, Pop Up Cookspace’s custom culinary workspace design comprises upcycled timber, exposed metal, worn wooden surfaces and aged accents. Handmade in their makespace in The Tannery, the overall look extends the brand experience of the food into its surroundings, as well as offering the user workspace, electrics, storage and display.

You can see The Piadina Project at work at its first location, 176 Blackstock Road, in Highbury, London.
