Join us this August Bank Holiday Monday for a flavour filled day of feasting beside the lakes with tunes and record store from vinyl DJ Far_Call_Records who will be playing from 11am to 4pm.

This Bank Holiday BBQ is hosted by Glove Factory Studios and Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen and coincides with the showstopper otherwise known as the annual Holt Scarecrow Trail 2024.

Join us for a relaxed summer’s day by the lakes in celebration of the Holt Village Scarecrow Trail with over 50 entries to identify around the village.

This year’s theme is ‘Childhood TV Characters’. Displays of all shapes and sizes will test your childhood entertainment knowledge to see if you can complete your trail card with full marks.

Tuck into delicious food from Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen as a well-deserved reward or for something to keep you nourished mid-trail as you work your way around the many imaginative scarecrows dotted throughout the village celebrating Holt’s 11th Scarecrow Trail.

The trail is a hugely popular family event and the hunt is on from 24th to 28th August for you to identify as many characters as you and your family are able to work out.

This year’s Holt Scarecrow Trail sponsors are none other than our very own studio members Crescent Mortgages. This is their 3rd year as main sponsor of this event.

Trail cards are available from the counter at Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen everyday throughout the duration of the trail.

If you’re taking part, make sure you include a pitstop at the BBQ with fellow trailers to enjoy a few hours of great food, wonderful music and drinks by the lakes.

Other temptations from Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen are of course also available to purchase on the day.
