Do you find yourself having to pedal faster and faster just to stand still, or are overwhelmed by the burgeoning demands in your growing business?

Paul Wielgus is a qualified and experienced coach and facilitator. He works across a range of local and international projects, all unified by his passion for the transformative power of Mindfulness.

With over 22 years of meditation practice, and as a senior consultant and trainer with Potential Project (the global leader in corporate based mindfulness training), Paul is acutely aware that the current ‘fad’ for mindfulness can sometimes produce a yawn and possibly a copy of the ‘Ladybird book of Mindfulness’ for your birthday or Christmas present! However, the type of Attention Training he brings to both global and small growing businesses is very different, practical and highly effective.

It’s not just about stress reduction, resilience, and well being but also about team and culture building, productivity and operational effectiveness.

Paul’s brand of Attention Training gets to the heart of our modern personal and collective problem, which is the distraction epidemic we are all feeling during these turbulent times, and he will demonstrate how simple and practical Attention Training techniques can transform you and your business.

Glove Factory Studios’ YouTube Channel Launched

On the first Friday of every month we hold our Holt Business Network breakfast here at Glove Factory Studios in The Field Kitchen. This is a free event and anyone is welcome to attend. The aim is to grow awareness of, and collaboration between local companies by bringing them together whilst listening to inspiring speakers over coffee and croissants.

At the start of January we were joined by nearly forty people for the first Holt Business Network breakfast of 2017. We welcomed back Jo Emerson who kick started the year for us with an inspiring talk and left listeners with a reflective and positive start to the new year.

This year our HBN breakfasts will be available on Glove Factory Studios’ YouTube Channel as a resource centre for those unable to attend, anyone who would like to listen to a talk again and to bring the talks to a wider audience. Over time we will have a collection of inspiring and informative talks to view at the click of a button.

A big thank you to Jooka, a video production company based at Glove Factory Studios.

We are excited to welcome back Jo Emerson who recently launched her debut book, Flying For Beginners. So many of us lack self-belief, and most don’t know why. Jo is a confidence coach and excels at helping people to rediscover their mojo. Through her own life experiences, Jo understands how life can knock us down but we can all choose to get up.

Jo likes to keep it real, she doesn’t believe in fluff. Her approach to coaching is a conversation with an aim to get to the truth. Her valuable coaching sessions, seminars, lunch time tasters, one day workshops and now her new book can all help you if you’re crippled by low self-esteem or if you simply have annoying moments of self-doubt. Investing time with Jo will help you understand the link between your thoughts and your reality.

If you’re ready to give up old patterns of thought and behaviour, to overcome anxiety and to reach your potential, come and meet Jo to learn more.

You can buy the paperback or Kindle version of Flying For Beginners here.

Expanding your business can be a daunting experience, particularly when it comes to taking on employees. Apart from the financial implications there is also the issue of having to jump through multiple hoops and comply with various legal requirements associated with becoming an employer. In an age where employees have a greater knowledge and understanding of their employment rights the perceived threat of employment tribunals combined with the time consuming responsibilities of ‘getting it right’ understandably makes people think twice.

At KeystoneHR, we understand these concerns and, if expanding your team is the key to growing your business, we want to reassure you that employing people doesn’t have to be daunting, if done right.

Join Jo Kangurs and Caroline Carter for an enlightening session where they will share their five top tips on how to take that leap from sole trader to employer. The session is also relevant to those who are looking to expand their teams or who have recently taken on employees and want to learn a bit more.
