We believe the best work doesn’t always happen at your desk. Inspiration often strikes during a chance chat in the courtyard, a conversation over lunch, or on a dog walk with a takeaway coffee in hand.
Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen sits beside a fire pit, overlooking lakes and fields, providing a space to fuel your creativity, catch up with clients, nourish the family or enjoy downtime with friends.
The perfect hangout for members and their guests, swimmers, cyclists, families and dog lovers. A place to come together and connect, and the perfect stop-off for those exploring nearby National Trust properties, The Courts Gardens and Great Chalfield Manor.

From sumptuous sharing plates to delicious dishes showcasing seasonal hero ingredients, this is chance to catch up and connect. Gather around flickering fire pits as the sun sets over the lakes and relax with a drink, or chat at a table with friends.

Join us on Monday 31st August (10am–4pm) for a relaxed community celebration of great food, music and family fun, hosted by @glovefactorystudios @wildherbatthefieldkitchen.
We will be serving up delicious food fresh from the BBQ grill, while @the_champagne_box supplies the fizz, and @far_call_records brings the vibes with a vinyl soundtrack and record store.
The day also coincides with Holt’s much-loved Scarecrow Trail @holtscarecrowtrailwiltshire, with over 60 story-themed scarecrows dotted around the village to discover. Pick up a trail card, see how many you can spot, then refuel with something tasty from the BBQ.
No booking needed, just come along, bring friends and family, and enjoy a brilliant August Bank Holiday.

Join us on Friday 25th September for our Late Summer Fire & Feast ~ an evening celebrating the very best of the season’s ingredients, shared with good company.
We’ll begin with drinks by the fire pit from 7pm before gathering with fellow guests beneath the canopy for a delicious three-course feast. Expect thoughtful cooking to nourish and delight, with a menu designed to showcase late summer at its most abundant and flavourful.

Last week, @glovefactorystudios hosted a fascinating evening with miniaturists @mulvanyandrogers, who shared the story behind their extraordinary body of work.
After the talk, guests were treated to a private viewing of Mulvany & Rogers’ breathtaking one-twelfth scale recreation of Leighton House. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are nothing short of remarkable.
From 15 July, this extraordinary miniature will be on display for one week only at @leightonsambournemuseums as part of Leighton House’s 100th anniversary celebrations. If you’re planning a trip to London, we highly recommend booking one of the museum’s limited private tours for a rare opportunity to see this beautiful work of art displayed within the house’s iconic interiors.
