Bath Digital Festival

ojo Solutions sponsor Bath Digital Festival’s Tech Think

ojo solutions are proud sponsors of the Tech / Think category at this year’s Bath Digital Festival, as well as hosting and speaking at numerous events across the festival.

The festival, which runs from 17 – 22 October, brings people and technology together. It allows everyone to explore the thriving digital scene in and around Bath and to get hands-on experience with the latest projects. Overseen by Bath Digital Festival CIC and run by a team of volunteers, the festival is supported by an array of fantastic sponsors.

Now approaching its fifth year, Bath Digital Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever in 2017. Whether you fancy trying your hand at coding, taking part in interactive workshops or just want to get your hands on the latest tech, there will be plenty for everyone to take part in and enjoy.

ojo solutions are hosting two events:

The Myth of Digital Business Transformation | 8 am – 9.30 am Tuesday 17th October
University of Bath Innovation Centre, Broad Quay, Bath, BA1 1UD

How many organisations start down the road of digital transformation only to find that the systems they are using are not supporting the digital business they want to be? This can lead to compromises resulting in over-extended timelines on delivery, and poor customer experience of the transforming company.

This session uses thought leaders to introduce the specific challenges and opportunities of digital transformation. Whether you are a technology expert or a senior manager engaged in digital transformation, this session will provide an insight into managing digital transformation and how innovative technologies can enhance the customer experience

Using Technology to Make a Difference | 12.30 pm – 1.15 pm Thursday 19th October
University of Bath Innovation Centre, Broad Quay, Bath, BA1 1UD

With technology changing the way we interact and how we consume information and engage with stakeholders, being able to effectively harness technology for good is essential for all charitable organisations.

Through practical examples and insight from charity case studies, Nathan Baranowski will share the challenges & solutions he has experienced in organisations moving from ‘digital despair’ to true ‘innovation for good’.
