Gather at the Shepherd’s Hut beside Glove Dipper’s lake to follow the natural rhythm of the lunar cycle with a group dip by the light of a Beaver Supermoon.

Some say the name comes from Native Americans setting beaver traps, while others say it is named for beavers actively building winter dams before swamps freeze.

Another name is the Frost Moon.

Either way, this year November’s full moon will be a Supermoon with 100% of the visible lunar disk illuminated at around 3pm in readiness for our dip.
