On Friday 11th September  Simon Hares spoke live from Glove Factory Studios in Holt and his presentation was streamed live in real-time direct to Salisbury, Royal Wooten Bassett and Ludgershall, courtesy of The Enterprise Network.

Through his business, SerialTrainer7,  Simon’s aim is to “leave people better than I find them”, and his modus operandi are training and development solutions that  help businesses discover the answers to commonly asked questions like “How can I manage my time more effectively?” and “How do I become a better sales person?”.

Simon addressed the thorny questions of better self-management and how to manage staff in a small business context.

The session was broken down into these sections – The Role of the Manager, Self Management – Including Managing Time & Priorities, People Management, Quality Management, Stress Management and Performance Management.

Within each area Simon covered the top line methods to start people in business on the right track by referring the best thinking, the most useful techniques and some recommended approaches.
