VESPERTINE TALK & SUPPER CLUB with Polly Nicholson 🌷
In celebration of Phaidon’s recent publication of Polly Nicholson’s new book, The Tulip Garden, we are delighted to welcome Polly to talk about her dedication to growing and collecting rare and annual varieties.
Polly holds the National Collection of Tulipa (Historic) with Plant Heritage (comprising over 75 cultivars dating back to the 16th century).
Join us to enjoy an evening hearing more about Nicholson’s beautiful six-acre English country garden and her unique collection of rare and covetable tulips - the largest private collection of historic varieties in the United Kingdom.
Followed by a two-course Supper Club in the canopy beside the fire pit, prepared by the talented chefs at Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen 🍽️
Perfectly timed to coincide with bulb planting, specialist flower grower and tulip expert Polly Nicholson, will be sharing her passion for these magnificent plants and how treasured bulbs and more modern varieties of this enchanting flower can be grown today.
