Richard Phelps is the founder and Managing Director of Blade Farming which is part of the ABP Food Group, the UK’s largest red meat food processor.

Richard grew up in the neighbour-village to Glove Factory Studios, Broughton Gifford, Wiltshire and worked his way around local dairy farms in the area. His passion for farming led him on a journey to understanding how beef and dairy farming could change without compromising quality and sustainability of beef and dairy produce.

Richard will take us on a journey of how he developed Blade Farming and share some of his thoughts from the project work achieved at the ABP demonstration farm in Shropshire on how better practices can result in more sustainable beef farming systems.

There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion at the end of the presentation.
