In a world often fixated on constant action and accomplishment, it’s easy to overlook the crucial difference between simply “going and doing” and genuinely “growing and developing.”
Sammy Burt, from Farleigh Performance, returns to Glove Factory Studios following her popular 2023 talk on ‘Leaderfulness’ with an invitation for us to reconsider our personal development. Sammy will unpack the essence of development through ‘the developing equation,’ considering the components that fuel true and enjoyable growth. As Myron Rogers says ‘Real change happens in real work’!
Sammy suggests looking for opportunities to practice what’s real for each of us, rather than detaching our development from the contexts of our lives – and trying to fit it in. Sammy hopes to leave us with not just some answers, but with questions that inspire reflection and perhaps even a few good ideas to try.
Gather in the Club Room for teas, coffees, and breakfast platters prepared by Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen before taking your seat to hear Sammy’s presentation. There will be time for a Q&A at the end to bring the talk to a close by 10am.
This is a FREE event however booking is essential.
