A one day course for people who are looking to develop their sales skills in order to be more confident in front of their clients.

Spring is a time for growth and renewal and in business it’s all about business development and building those sales. However, not everyone is great at selling, even though they need to be doing it.

Simon Hares will be leading a sales training course at Glove Factory Studios to support business owners with the core skills they need to effectively sell to their potential clients. The course will cover fundamental sales skills in an easy to follow sales process that will help to build your confidence.

Session 1 – Your first session will cover the ‘finding out’ stages of the sales process and an understanding of different sales approaches depending on the type of business you are selling to as well as understanding the behaviours we need to look out for from the buyers. The day will continue by introducing a four step sales process that can be used in any and every sales conversation. Starting with the first two steps we will put a focus on the skills of discovery and asking the right questions in order to qualify the client to work with you.

Session 2 – Your second session we will look at the second part of the sales process which looks at matching our product to the clients needs. Using storytelling, powerful features, benefits and value statements, you will come away with some real sales collateral that will help you to confidently win business. The last part of the day covers skills in closing and follow up so that conversation can be kept moving and ultimately we feel confident enough to ask for the business.

You will come away with some really effective sales skills that you can put into place right off the bat.
