Studio Holders Collaborate on Recruitment App Project

Newly launched education based recruitment app CVued not only features scenes at Glove Factory Studios but was also developed by studio holders ojo solutions.

The new app, which aims to revolutionise the recruitment industry by offering a direct platform between candidates and recruiters, was launched last week.

Back in January, video production company Jooka, who are based in Studio 26 here at Glove Factory Studios, produced a series of promotional films for the app. Jooka brought in six actors from across the UK and for one day in January transformed several locations at Glove Factory Studios into a makeshift filming studio, including the Engine Room, The Field Kitchen, and reception foyer.

James Stapleton of Jooka said, “Whilst the filming was being undertaken here at Glove Factory Studios, the CVued team mentioned that they were seeking a mobile technology company to take on development of the app, and having worked with ojo previously on an app project of their own we immediately thought of them.”

ojo solutions have since developed the CVued app. Kev of ojo said “we took on the project knowing that time was a real concern as a previous developer had failed to deliver. Through a series of workshops we took an existing design and tweaked it as required. We then quickly turned around the development and published into iTunes and Google play where its undergoing its beta launch”

CVued is available to download on Google Play and iTunes. The promotional films featuring Glove Factory Studios and The Field Kitchen can be viewed on the CVued website: www.cvued.com  (which was also developed by ojo solutions!)
