As far back as the Middle Ages, bonfires have lit up along the top of mountain ranges to celebrate, the longest day in the Northern hemisphere and encourage it to linger.

This Summer Solstice we’re encouraging you to linger and mingle with a few great British sculptors as we celebrate art in landscape and the exceptional work we’ve had the pleasure of exhibiting over the years, at Glove Factory Studios.

Join us for an evening of drinks and nibbles while mingling with artists and their sculptures, before moving to the canopy beside the fire pit to enjoy a delicious Summer Solstice Supper prepared by Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen.

You will be able to view sculptures by Sean Henry, William Peers, David Worthington and Emily Young; and chance upon hearing a little more about their work from some of them.

Savour the flavours as the fires dwindle, enjoying a relaxed evening of wonderfully fresh and seasonal food sat amongst legacy makers of our time.

Let us know at the time of booking if you have any dietary requirements or if there are any guests you’d like to be seated with, thank you.
