We’re bouncing into tennis season with a box-fresh photography show exploring the Price of Bath factory: the UK’s last remaining manufacturer of tennis balls, squash balls and racket balls.
Photographer David King captures a moment in time behind the scenes prior to the company’s move to a new factory. Still a family-run venture, J Price has been making tennis balls in Britain for over 80 years and spanning three generations.
A professional photographer based at Glove Factory Studios, Dave is inspired by “finding beauty in often overlooked and unnoticed subjects, relying on some 30 years of design experience to create simple yet powerful images”.
The exhibition in The Field Kitchen runs until the end of July and is just a small selection from a huge documentary photography archive.
