This new photo exhibition celebrating the tennis season is not quite what it seems!
The Field Kitchen is home to a show exploring the Price of Bath factory: the UK’s last remaining manufacturer of tennis balls, squash balls and racket balls.
Photographer David King captures a moment in time behind the scenes prior to the company’s move to a new factory. J Price is a family-run business that has been making tennis balls in Britain for over 80 years spanning three generations.
A professional photographer based at Glove Factory Studios, David King is inspired by “finding beauty in often overlooked and unnoticed subjects, relying on some 30 years of design experience to create simple yet powerful images”.
The exhibition runs until the end of July and is just a small selection from a huge documentary photography archive.
