Art for Macmillan website designed by ojo solutions

Exciting new partnership for ojo solutions

Art for Macmillan (Devon and Cornwall) Fundraising Committee is creating prestigious events to sell and auction amazing artwork in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. They were recommended to approach ojo solutions with a requirement to create a new Event website. The first large scale event will be held at Bridwell Park, the Devon home of Lord Ivar Mountbatten, who has generously given his support to the project. With the first auction later this year, ojo solutions were very interested in working with Art for  Macmillan in designing and developing this brochure website and being recognised as a partner to this prestigious and worthy cause.

Art for Macmillan required a clean design enabling donating artists’ artwork to be uploaded and showcased. The design also needed to complement all the partner and sponsor logos as well as including all the event information. The wonderful location of Bridwell Park needed to be displayed prominently as well as the website displaying past event details.

Art for Macmillan were also aware from the outset of the importance of responsive design and making the website as accessible as possible to people using devices of all shapes and sizes.

Although online ticket sales were not a requirement, the website was built in a way in which this could be integrated at a later date. The entire site is managed via the intuitive interface of ojoCMS.

Bridget Hill, local Fundraising Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support, said “I am delighted that ojosolutions agreed to work with the fundraising committee on this project. Having a great website will be fundamental to the success of the events and ultimately the amount raised to help people affected by cancer. The stakes are high but we are confident that ojosolutions is a great partner to have on board.”

We’re very excited to be involved in this project and look forward to the site launching this year before the first event in October.
