Our Monday Bank Holiday BBQ is brought to you by Glove Factory Studios and Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen, and coincides with the showstopper event otherwise known as the annual Holt Scarecrow Trail 2026.

Join us for a relaxed summer’s day by the lakes in celebration of the Holt Village Scarecrow Trail with over 60 entries for you to identify around the village.

This year’s theme is ‘Story Town’ – any book title, character or author made into a scarecrow. Displays of all shapes and sizes will test your buddy-power to see if you can complete your trail card with full marks.

Tuck into delicious food from Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen as a well deserved reward or for something to keep you nourished mid-trail as you work your way around the many imaginative scarecrows dotted throughout the village celebrating Holt’s 13th Scarecrow Trail.

The trail is a hugely popular family event and the hunt is on from 28th August to 2nd September for you to identify as many pairs as you and your family are able to work out.

This year’s Holt Scarecrow Trail sponsors are none other than our very own studio members Crescent Mortgages. This is their 5th year as main sponsor of this event.

Trail cards are available from the counter at Wild Herb at The Field Kitchen everyday throughout the duration of the trail.
